SCHOOL SUPPLIES

It's time start buying school supplies and backpacks for our friends at Cooke Elementary School. Pick up your supply list at the counter in the foyer. This year we are asking that you do not put the supplies in the backpack. Your supplies are due by August 22, we will be packing the back packs that Sunday, in the Family Center, immediately following the second service. Everyone is invited to stay and help pack. If you cannot shop, you may make a donation to VBCC and attach a note marked school supplies. Don't miss your opportunity to show the love of Christ to these children and their families.

Pancake & Recovery

On Saturdays, May 1st , July 3rd , September 4th, and November 6th , we will be cooking for the pancake breakfast. This is an outreach to the homeless of our area who come for breakfast followed by a recovery meeting.

We need your help on those Saturday mornings. Participants should be there by 6:45am. The event runs from 6:45-10:00 a.m. If you cannot help the entire time, come out for whatever time you can give and be blessed to be a blessing. For more information call Alice Dagenhardt at 428-1881.
